Beyond sport: a movement for change
What if trail running or hiking isn’t your thing? What if sport isn’t part of your usual interests?
We believe there is still something that unites us: our shared humanity. As human beings, we are bound by a love for our natural environment and by the responsibility to care for those who face greater challenges, whether due to health conditions or social inclusion barriers.
We invite you to move on to the next section and discover how you can help change this story. Because you, personally, have the power to be part of a movement that, step by step, is transforming the world for the better.
You don’t need to run to change lives
If trail running isn’t for you, if sport isn’t part of your daily life, this section is for you. Because being part of change doesn’t require crossing a finish line. It simply requires heart. And if you’re reading this, you already have it.

Leave your T-shirts here to support young athletes in the Amazon.
Thank you for your help!

📍 How to take part?
Bring a race T-shirt in good condition when you come to collect your race bib.
Hand it in at the bib collection area.
We’ll make sure it reaches its destination.
Adaptive chairs: mountains for everyone
Imagine being the parent of a child who uses a wheelchair and looking up at the mountains, knowing they may never feel the wind on the summit. Now imagine that they can. Joëlette and Huckleberry chairs make this possible.
This year, an anonymous donor gifted us the first Huckleberry chair, allowing a single adult to take their child along mountain trails. One parent. One child. The mountain. Together.
More chairs mean more smiles on the summits. These chairs also support our firefighters during rescue operations in the Sierra Blanca on certain occasions.
Shop with purpose
Every product in our shop fuels change: sustainability, inclusion and reforestation. Your purchase plants trees, helps children reach the mountains, and builds community.
Join the movement
Get in touch with us to donate a chair, collaborate in reforestation projects, or support inclusion in the mountains. When you recognise someone’s humanity, everything changes. A simple gesture can travel thousands of miles and change a life.
Thank you very much for being part of this solidarity initiative and for helping us take the spirit of trail running even further.

Collaborations that transform experiences
We listen. We improve. We evolve.
This year, we welcome brands that share our vision: creating memorable experiences while caring for the planet and our community.

Our new partners
Lurbel — the Spanish brand conquering Europe — places its trust in us and takes our runners’ experience to the next level.
At Sierra Blanca Trail: every participant will receive technical garments selected specifically according to the distance they are racing.
At Marbella Epic Trail: all participants will receive Lurbel technical socks and arm sleeves. In addition, the first 100 runners to cross the finish line will earn something extra: the chance to choose the exclusive Tifón Pro technical trail running T-shirt as their finisher’s garment, among other exclusive products.
Please note: these finisher gifts will never be for sale. They are unique. You can’t buy them, and you won’t find them online. You can only earn them.
Because we respect your effort as much as you respect the mountain.
Emily Foods brings a natural revolution. After years of searching for the perfect alternative to industrial energy gels, we found the answer close to home: locally sourced quince, 100% natural, in a single-serve format. Pure energy from the Andalusian countryside to power you through the mountains.
Estrella Galicia joins the Sierra Blanca Trail family. Because after conquering the mountains, you deserve to celebrate with the people you love. Traditional beer and alcohol-free options, so every finisher can celebrate in their own way.
Train with Nacho Mingo | Official Sierra Blanca Trail Preparation | 18 January 2026
Nacho Mingo hosts the official SBT & Live Your Dream training session in collaboration with SANTAMADRE. Discover the course, receive technical advice, and prepare alongside those who know Sierra Blanca best.
Important: From the 2027 edition onwards, this option will be automatically included with registration.
Would you like to be part of this story?
We are looking for partners who:
Believe in sustainable tourism and respect for the environment
Value inclusion and social responsibility
Wish to associate their brand with events that are experiencing genuine international growth
Share our vision of leaving the world better than we found it
Let’s talk. The best collaborations are born from shared values, not contracts. We want to build with you — not just sponsorships.
11th Edition Sierra Blanca Trail | 14 February
Fewer than 30 race bibs remain available.
From a local race to an international landmark — that has been the journey of the Sierra Blanca Trail. When our club took over the organisation after the pandemic, we had runners from just 7 countries. Today, only three years later, we welcome participants from 45 nationalities.
This year’s growth is remarkable not only among Spanish runners — particularly from the north of the country, who are discovering the beauty of Sierra Blanca — but also internationally:
France: 36 participants
United Kingdom: 26
Sweden: 17
Local representation continues to grow as well. By Spanish province:
Cádiz: 96 participants
Seville: 53
Madrid: 52
Each year, more trail running and active tourism enthusiasts discover the unique gem that Marbella offers — from the Mediterranean Sea to the Sierra Blanca mountains and the iconic Cruz de Juanar. And for those brave enough to challenge the beast, La Concha awaits at the Marbella Epic Trail.
Available distances
Trampantojo (~13.5 km): Available as a race or a hiking option. Ideal for beginners.
Rompepiernas (~32 km): The most popular distance and historically the first to sell out.
Destroyer (39–43 km): A demanding route that varies each year depending on environmental conditions.
Participant limit: 1,000 runners, to preserve and protect the trails.
Inclusive categories: 50% discount for participants and their companions.

WHAT’S NEW FOR 2026
Cadet Category
For the first time, we are opening a Cadet category (ages 15–16) at the Sierra Blanca Trail. A unique opportunity for younger athletes to experience the excitement of an international mountain race.
From sea to mountains… and back to the sea
For the first time in our history, the race will start and finish at the same location.
Picture this: you set off to the sound of the Mediterranean waves, climb technical trails to conquer the Sierra Blanca mountains, and return to immerse yourself in the very same waters you left behind. Few races in the world offer such a privilege.
At the Sierra Blanca Trail, you don’t just cross mountains — you live a complete sea-to-summit experience in a single day. After the effort, the Mediterranean awaits, offering the best natural recovery there is.
Meanwhile, your companions can enjoy the only shopping centre located directly on the beachfront. And in Marbella, even in February, the sun often treats us to perfect days for enjoying the sand and the sea.
Can’t make it in 2026?
Registration for the 2027 edition opens on 1 June, with the best price of the year.
Marbella Epic Trail | 21 february
The beast that’s won hearts in just three years.
Now in its third edition, this ultra-technical race already brings together runners from 21 countries, with 46% international participation. Word of the mountain’s call has travelled far, and this year, as the first scoring race of the Andalusian Cup, local representation from across Andalucía has surged.
Marbella Epic Trail has quickly earned its reputation as one of the most technical races in its category (introductory ultra, 50–70 km). But don’t be fooled by the numbers: 66 km that feel like 100. And we’re not just talking about elevation gain (5,000 metres). We mean 10,000 metres total elevation, because here, the descents punish as much as the climbs. Expect limestone terrain, steep trails, extremely technical downhill sections, and the brutal ascent to La Concha—your ultimate test before the final stretch.
The legendary La Concha awaits. But only for the brave.
That peak towering over Marbella’s skyline—seen by thousands, conquered by few.
In Marbella Epic Trail, La Concha is not just a summit; it’s a crucible. The moment you discover what you’re made of.
New in 2026: From summit to sea
Just like Sierra Blanca Trail, from this year onward, the race ends with a plunge into the Mediterranean Sea.
Picture the moment: you’ve conquered La Concha, defeated the most demanding and technical race in Andalucía, and now the sea is waiting to welcome you.
At Plaza del Mar Shopping Centre, a full Mediterranean buffet awaits—everything included. A well-earned reward after taming the beast.
Because in Marbella Epic Trail, the mountain pushes you to your limits—
but the sea welcomes you home.

Sierra Blanca Rangers: building community from the mountains
In its second edition, Sierra Blanca Rangers registered 180 entries and welcomed more than 400 people, including participants, family members and friends. An unforgettable day that proved the mountain is for everyone.
This event is designed for all ages, from 4 years old, and includes a free, non-competitive category for those who have never even tried hiking before: distances of just over 1 km in a safe environment where the goal is enjoyment, not competition.
100% free participation in the inclusive category.
For our youngest participants:
Pollitos and Prebenjamines may be accompanied by their parents
Pollitos and the Free category do not compete — they simply enjoy the mountains
Distances adapted to all ages in a fully safe and controlled environment
Official Málaga Provincial Cup calendar
Here you will find the race calendar for school-age categories. Please remember that at Sierra Blanca Rangers, children can register from the age of 4, with the sole aim of having fun and discovering nature.
A movement that keeps on growing.

We will continue to share updates throughout the year, as we never stop working to ensure more children discover the wonders of the mountains and the natural world. Every small step counts. Every child in the mountains is a seed for the future.
