At Sierra Blanca, trail running is more than a race. It is the moment when the mountain and the sea recognise one another. After an edition we shall never forget, we want to stay connected with everyone who makes this project possible: runners, volunteers and friends of the mountain.
Where the Mountain Meets the Mediterranean
Few races in the world can offer this: setting off beside the sea, conquering summits of over 1,000 metres and crossing the finish line back in front of the Mediterranean.
Two worlds joined by a single route. The mountain demands. The sea welcomes you home. This is not a circuit — it is an experience that stays with you.
New Registration System — Marbella Epic Trail
252 race bibs. The definitive limit.
From 2027 onwards, Marbella Epic Trail will never exceed that number — ever. What begins here is what it shall always be.
Those who have been part of this story from the start will have first access:
Week 1 — Exclusive registration for everyone who entered in previous editions.
Week 2 — General registration opens with the remaining bibs.
Marbella Epic Trail was born as the privilege of a few. It shall remain so.

Trail Cris Santurino — A Memory That Keeps Running
At the last edition of Marbella Epic Trail, we remembered Cristina Santurino: winner of our second edition, part of our family and part of our spirit.
Now, in El Hierro — a place where she was very happy — the Trail Cris Santurino has been born. A race created to keep her memory alive and honour her love of nature. It moves us deeply to know that she keeps on running.
Yaiza — A Fighter’s Heart
Some stories remind you why you fell in love with this sport.
Yaiza took part in one of our races in a Joëlette chair, adapted for people with limited mobility. But that day she made a decision no one will ever forget: she got out of the chair and crossed the finish line on her own two feet.
Today she runs increasingly longer distances and competed in Sierra Blanca Trail alongside her father. Her story does not only redefine what is possible — it redefines what it means to cross a finish line.
T-shirts for a Cause — Patagonia Project
In Patagonia, there are young athletes who run with whatever they have. We run with wardrobes full of t-shirts.
Once again, we are continuing our collaboration with Trail Run Advisor to change that: we collect used running shirts at all our events and send them directly to those who need them most.
If you take part in our events, bring along the shirts you no longer use. A small gesture. A real impact.

This year it was filmed by one of our youngest participants — and that, far from diminishing it, gives it something special: a fresh perspective on the beauty, the power and the technical demands of a race that truly has to be seen to be believed.

Sierra Blanca Rangers — 4th October
There is a first time you never forget.
Sierra Blanca Rangers arrives on the 4th of October for runners aged 4 to 16: distances tailored to each age group, the same mountain, the same spirit.
For those who wish to experience it without competition, the Open Category is open to all ages — the perfect starting point for anyone looking to discover hiking or trail running, and the ideal warm-up for Sierra Blanca Trail 2027.
The mountain belongs to them too. A new generation starts here.
