CxM Sierra Blanca, in its 9th edition set for 2024, is more than just a mountain race. Organised by Club Deportivo Ultra Trail Sierra Blanca and sponsored by Marca Marbella, this event stands out for its commitment to environmental preservation and the promotion of essential mountain sports values such as authenticity, humility, fair play, respect, and solidarity.

The race will take place on 10th February 2024, starting from Plaza Monseñor Rodrigo Bocanegra in Marbella and passing through the municipalities of Ojén and Monda. With three different routes, the race is designed to attract a wide range of runners, from young beginners to experienced athletes. Categories include TRAMPANTOJO, ROMPEPIERNAS, and DESTROYER, each offering different distances and challenges.

The event also features a CxM-Inclusive category for runners with disabilities, demonstrating a commitment to inclusion and accessibility in sport. Additionally, a virtual race allows runners and hikers from around the world to join, with distances of 12, 28, or 42 km, with funds raised going to MPS España and the conservation of Sierra Blanca.

The organisers of CxM Sierra Blanca focus on minimising the event’s environmental impact, highlighting the importance of conserving natural surroundings and promoting sustainable practices. This race is not only a physical challenge but also a celebration of the sporting spirit and a reminder of our collective responsibility towards the environment and community.
